I have started this blog, since Iám really fascinated with my old Manila, the place where I grew up and still living. Pictures seen here are gathered throughout the rich resources of the internet and I couldn't trace the origin of some of the pictures. I should say most came from various universities and libraries (US Library of Congress & University of Wisconsin, and more) abroad. Enjoy your explorations!

hi Joey, let me just say that i am so touched by these pictures. I dunno what is it about the images of old that touches so deep into the human psyche. it must be the longing for roots and identity. it must be the exasperation with the present failed order invoking a sense of longing for the time when we we still "one." it must be many other things.
My appreciation goes to you dear brother, for these lovely pictures.
